Our Story
Royal Calvary Temple International is not merely a building — it is a testimony. What began in 1984 as the Nairobi Gospel Church under the late Bishop Phillip Ndungu Karanja has grown into a landmark of faith anchored on Nairobi’s Outering Road.
By God’s extraordinary provision, 1.8 acres of land was graciously donated by the Director of DRIVE-IN development — a divine open door that set the foundation for everything that followed.
In March 2018, under the visionary leadership of General Overseer Bishop Dr. Patrick G. Marai Mungai, the ground was dedicated with prayer, faith, and expectation. Construction began in 2019 — and in a remarkable act of God, not a single fundraiser was held. Every brick was laid through the faithfulness of a God who provides.

Today, Royal Calvary Temple International stands as an instrument of grace given to Kenya, Africa, and the world — and our greatest chapters are still ahead.
